"Up to 40% Off" Emart Hosts 'Seollal Family Food' Event
Emart announced on the 18th that it will hold a 'Lunar New Year Family Food' event for one week from the 19th to the 25th.
First, Emart prepared ritual fruits such as apples and pears, which saw increased stock and lower market prices due to last year's early Chuseok holiday, at prices cheaper than last year's Lunar New Year. Key products include 'Naju Singo Pears (3kg)' priced at 15,900 KRW, about 20% cheaper than last Lunar New Year's price of 19,900 KRW, and 'Ritual Apples (3 pieces)' planned at 12,800 KRW, 13.5% cheaper than last year's 14,800 KRW. 'Farmers Pick Apples (8?14 pieces)' are also sold at 11,800 KRW, which is about 20% cheaper compared to similar products sold last Lunar New Year.
In cooperation with the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries, a discount event offering up to 40% off on major seafood products will also be held. Representative products include seasonal 'Namhaean Bagged Oysters (250g)' and 'Family-Prepared Sea Eel (700g)', which can be purchased at 5,988 KRW and 29,880 KRW respectively with a 40% discount when accumulating Shinsegae Points. 'Korean Beef Soup Cuts and Bulgogi (domestic)' suitable for holiday ritual dishes are sold at a 20% discount with Shinsegae Points, and all items of 'Australian Beef for Yukjeon and Shabu-Shabu (100g)' are planned at 3,980 KRW.
A limited-time special event will also be held. From the 19th to the 21st, 'King Crab' will be sold at 7,980 KRW per 100g, and from the 19th to the 22nd, 'Prime and Wagyu Ribeye' will be offered at a 20% discount with Shinsegae Points accumulation.
