Gwangju Nam-gu "Delivering District Newsletter in Audio"
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] Nam-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City, will introduce a service that reads aloud the contents published in its newsletter.
Nam-gu announced on the 3rd that starting from the New Year's issue scheduled for release on the 18th, it will adopt the 'Voice Eye Code System' to enhance accessibility for information-vulnerable groups such as the visually impaired and people with disabilities.
The Voice Eye Code is a system that converts printed text information into voice, and anyone can use it by downloading the related app on their smartphone.
In addition to the newsletter, the system will be expanded to various promotional materials issued by the district office, event introduction brochures, and research and survey publications.
