View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Hyewon] Ediya Coffee announced on the 3rd that it has declared the new year management slogan for the Year of the Rabbit as "With the hearts of customers and franchisees, let's run again 2023."
At the opening ceremony held the day before at the headquarters building in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, Chairman Moon Chang-gi said, "Despite the intensified competition in the coffee market, I express my gratitude to everyone who has done their best for the company's growth and development," and added, "To strengthen franchise competitiveness and maximize customer satisfaction, all headquarters employees and franchise owners must return to their original intentions and do their best."
He especially ordered all departments to make every effort for the successful establishment of the recently launched 'New Americano,' developed through long-term research and development, and to revitalize franchise sales. He also emphasized the continuous development of various measures to maximize marketing effects in addition to the large-scale prize events currently underway to actively attract new customers as well as improve satisfaction among existing customers.
He also emphasized "qualitative growth," including customer service programs, product quality, and infrastructure enhancement. Ediya Coffee plans to expand various investments to improve customer satisfaction through diverse CS programs, enhance product quality such as beverages and bakery items, and improve franchise IT infrastructure.
Chairman Moon also stressed strengthening capabilities for expanding distribution business and successful overseas expansion. The distribution business, which launched the first coffee specialty store-developed Vinist in 2012 and offers mixed coffee, cup coffee, etc., has shown an average annual growth rate of over 70% for the past three years and continues to grow steadily. Currently, various distribution products are exported to more than 10 countries, including the United States, Australia, Mongolia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.
