Seoul City Opens 7th Youth Employment Academy Campus... Training IT Service Planners
Comprehensive Employment and Startup Support
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The 7th campus of Seoul's youth digital talent training institution, the 'Youth Employment Academy,' will open in Dongjak-gu (2nd floor of Space Sallim), the city announced on the 27th. The Youth Employment Academy supports the entire process from practical training in digital new technology fields such as software (SW) development and digital transformation (DT) to job placement and entrepreneurship for young job seekers.
The 'Youth Employment Academy' is Mayor Oh Se-hoon's flagship youth employment policy introduced to resolve mismatches by providing young people with high-quality practical training and jobs, and supplying companies struggling with workforce shortages with digital field professionals.
The newly opened Dongjak campus is Seoul's 7th Youth Employment Academy. Following the Mapo and Gangseo campuses, it will operate as a specialized campus focused on digital transformation (DT) courses. It is a customized program designed to enhance the competitiveness of liberal arts graduates (non-IT majors) who suffer from the narrow job market.
It will operate two courses aimed at training service planners: the 'IT Service Planner Employment Camp (32 participants)' taught by current professionals, and the 'Data-Driven Service Planning School (28 participants)'.
