Housing Welfare Stakeholders Gathered in One Place... '2022 Daehanminguk Housing Welfare Expo' Held
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Wanyong] The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport announced on the 20th that it will hold the ‘2022 Korea Housing Welfare Expo’ at the aT Center on the 21st.
The event, hosted by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and co-organized by Korea Land and Housing Corporation and Housing and Land Guarantee Corporation, is expected to be attended by about 300 participants including policy officials, public rental housing operators, management and operation agencies, academia and experts, and policy consumers.
The Korea Housing Welfare Expo is an event held to evaluate housing welfare policies over the past year and to discuss the design of housing welfare policies for the coming year.
This year, various housing welfare-related events and forums were held separately, which limited the policy-making of diverse opinions raised so far. To address this, the event has been prepared to bring everyone together in one place for joint discussion.
Through this, it is expected to become a platform where local governments, public institutions, financial institutions, and private organizations involved in housing welfare can establish a ‘collaborative governance of housing welfare policies’ and share various opinions experienced in the field to discuss and communicate the essential policies and the future direction of housing welfare.
Additionally, the event will feature awards for outstanding local governments and contributors who have contributed to improving national housing conditions, meetings with housing welfare field personnel, academic forums, experience zones, consultation booths for legal and subscription matters, and promotional booths for excellent local governments and housing welfare-related organizations.
