[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Innocean announced on the 5th that Kim Jeong-ah, Executive Director and Chief Creative Officer (CCO), received the Industrial Medal in recognition of her contributions to the development of the advertising industry at the 2022 Government Awards Ceremony for Distinguished Advertisers, hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
Executive Director Kim entered the advertising industry in 1996 and has produced, managed, and overseen brand campaigns for leading South Korean companies such as Hyundai Motor Group, Hanwha Group, SKT, Shinsegae, KT, CJ, and Kakao. She has especially led efforts to ensure that advertising goes beyond fulfilling marketing objectives to realize the social and public values of companies. Through numerous public interest projects, she has continuously proposed campaigns considerate of socially vulnerable groups, fostering a healthy advertising culture and raising social discourse for marginalized communities.
Her major advertising awards include ▲ the Grand Prix of the Year at the Busan International Advertising Festival for Hyundai Motor Group’s public interest campaign Dear My Hero ▲ the Spikes Asia Silver Award and Clio Awards Bronze for the Mask ID campaign linked to Innocean’s social contribution program S.O.S ▲ the Gold Award at Adfest and contributing to Innocean’s selection as Digital Advertising Company of the Year with the COVID-19 medical staff support campaign Cheer Bandage ▲ the Gold Award at the New York Festivals, Gold Award at Adfest, and Silver Award at the Clio Awards for Hanwha Group’s eco-friendly campaign Clean Up Mekong.
