Darisoft Secures 5.5 Billion KRW Series A Funding Successfully
[Asia Economy Reporter Kwak Minjae] Darisoft, which developed the AI-based real-time road hazard information service ‘RiaaS,’ announced on the 28th that it has completed a Series A investment round totaling 5.5 billion KRW.
This Series A round included investments from SBI Investment, E&Venture Partners, DA Value Investment, and Evergreen Investment Partners. The total cumulative investment has surpassed 6.8 billion KRW.
Darisoft plans to enhance its services by recruiting excellent R&D personnel, improving the service platform, expanding AI modeling infrastructure, and strengthening the machine learning pipeline. Additionally, to accelerate overseas expansion and marketing, the company will establish a local subsidiary in the United States in January next year.
The company will also continue to improve the performance of its currently produced 2-channel road analysis device and equip it with various additional functions, focusing ongoing R&D efforts to develop it into a world-leading terminal in the related field.

Meanwhile, Darisoft was founded in January 2020. It conducts research and development in various fields such as mobility, AIoT, and big data. Among its total 25 employees, 70% are researchers dedicated to technology development and securing patents. In less than three years since its establishment, the company has secured a total of 12 core patents.
