On the 24th, TMON announced that it opened the cafe 'TWUC' on the first floor of its headquarters in Garosugil, Gangnam-gu, Seoul.
TWUC is an acronym for 'TMON WITH YOU CAFE,' meaning 'a cafe created together by TMON and young people with disabilities.' Following the establishment of 'TMON WITH YOU' as a subsidiary for direct employment of people with disabilities in July, TMON is also pursuing certification of TWUC as a standard workplace for the disabled.
TMON has made efforts to incorporate the meaning of coexistence with people with disabilities and TMON's branding into the external image and interior space of TWUC. Messages hoping for prejudice-free interaction with people with disabilities have been placed in key areas. TMON plans to operate TWUC as a foundation for the independence of disabled baristas as well as a business harmonizing with Garosugil, a representative hot place in Seoul.
