On the 22nd, Woori Bank announced that it held the award ceremony for the '2022 Great Challenge Award Innovation Idea Contest' the previous day. At the event, CEO Lee urged employees to continuously pursue challenges and innovation.
The 'Great Challenge Award' is an internal contest that connects employees' ideas to business commercialization. From August 30 to September 16, a total of 359 ideas were submitted under the themes of ▲creating new revenue sources ▲increasing work efficiency ▲discovering Newtro (New+Retro).
The submitted ideas underwent internal evaluation based on innovation, profitability, and business feasibility, and 6 were selected as finalists. Subsequently, a final evaluation was conducted through an online vote by executives and employees, resulting in 3 final award-winning ideas.
