According to Simply Cook on the 22nd, sales of about 10 major soup-based convenience meal varieties from the 1st to the 21st of this month increased up to seven times compared to August. It is analyzed that the sales proportion, which was centered on pasta and meat menus during the summer, is rapidly shifting to soup-based menus as the winter season begins.
Popular soup menus also differed by sales channel. At the convenience store GS25, soup rice menus such as 'Simply Cook Naju Gomtang' and 'Simply Cook Beef Market Soup Rice' ranked first and second in sales, respectively. At the supermarket GS The Fresh, 'Simply Cook Ham Bomb Budae Jjigae' sold the best, while on the online grocery platform GS Fresh Mall, 'Simply Cook Mild Seoul-style Beef Bulgogi Hot Pot' emerged as the best-selling product.

A GS Retail official said, "As we enter the winter season, sales of Simply Cook soup menus are showing a significant upward trend," adding, "We plan to continuously enhance differentiated products suitable for the season and promotional discounts to improve customer satisfaction."
