7 Lee Jae-myung Action Leaders Attend Rally for Yoon Government Resignation
"7 Democratic Party Lawmakers Attend... Becomes Official Event
Democracy withers at the 'Indian Rain Prayer' held every weekend"
[Asia Economy Reporter Hyunju Lee] On the 20th, the People Power Party criticized, "The 169 members of the Democratic Party of Korea are political accomplices along with leader Lee Jae-myung."
Jang Dong-hyuk, the floor spokesperson for the People Power Party, issued a statement saying, "Seven Democratic Party lawmakers attended the candlelight rally yesterday demanding the resignation of the Yoon Seok-yeol government," adding, "With the attendance of seven of leader Lee's key aides, the weekend resignation rallies have now become official Democratic Party events."
Spokesperson Jang pointed out, "These seven opposition lawmakers, who shamelessly exploit a national tragedy politically to shield leader Lee Jae-myung, show no regard for the victims of the Itaewon disaster or the healing of their families. They are precisely the 'seven enemies of the Itaewon disaster' they themselves mentioned."
He continued, "Democracy is withering away amid the weekend Indian rainmaking rituals," adding, "However, no rain will fall to save leader Lee Jae-myung."
Spokesperson Jang also criticized, "Deputy Director Kim Yong, who spoke the truth, has been arrested and indicted. Chief Secretary Jeong Jin-sang, who vowed to believe only the truth, has also been detained," stating, "This is the truth. The Democratic Party and leader Lee do not not know the truth; they just refuse to believe it."
