Emart Launches Winter Budget-Friendly Foods 'Bangeo Sushi' and 'Hot Sandwich'
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Emart announced on the 20th that it will consecutively launch new deli and Peacock meal kit products featuring Emart's unique competitive edge ahead of the full-scale winter season.
In the deli corner, three types of 'Hot Sandwiches' and a winter limited seasonal product, 'Sushi Black Bangeo Sushi,' will be released. Available in three flavors?mozzarella corn cheese, scrambled egg, and sausage pizza?these sandwiches can be heated in the microwave for just 2 minutes to enjoy a freshly made warm sandwich like those served at brunch cafes.
Scheduled for release at the end of November, the Sushi Black Bangeo Sushi features thickly sliced Bangeo, a winter seasonal fish known for its clean and savory flesh, allowing customers to enjoy premium sushi at a reasonable price.
In addition to convenient ready-to-eat foods, Peacock meal kits that allow customers to enjoy gourmet dishes at home without burden will also be launched. On the 24th, considering the increased demand for soup-based meal kits in winter, new instant tteokbokki and fish cake hot pot meal kits will be introduced for home enjoyment.
The 'Peacock Taeyangcho Instant Tteokbokki' uses Taeyangcho red pepper powder, characterized by a spicy initial taste and a sweet finish. The 'Peacock Deep and Rich Mushroom Fish Cake Hot Pot' includes various mushrooms and fish cakes with added udon noodles and a spicy kick from Vietnamese chili peppers, resulting in a deep and rich broth. These two new products will be available with a 4,000 KRW discount when purchased with event cards from the 24th to the 30th, making them affordable.
Emart plans to lead the development of customer-centered differentiated food products as a helper for meal prices to overcome the high inflation era.
