Sancheong-gun Local Scholarship Foundation "Apply for Scholarships... Discovering and Supporting Local Talents"
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] The Sancheong-gun Hometown Scholarship Foundation in Gyeongnam announced on the 14th that it is accepting applications for the second half of 2022 Sancheong-gun Hometown Scholarship until December 6.
Applicants must be residents who have continuously lived in Sancheong-gun for more than one year or their children, currently enrolled in elementary, middle, or high schools within the region. The scholarship categories include arts and physical education scholarships and general scholarships.

A representative of the Hometown Scholarship Foundation stated, "This scholarship selection is conducted to discover and support local talents, prevent population outflow, and attract external talents," adding, "We ask for the continuous interest and participation of residents and overseas compatriots in the culture of donation for the steady scholarship projects."
The Sancheong-gun Hometown Scholarship Foundation was established with the purpose of nurturing local talents who can contribute to the development of Sancheong-gun.
Every year, scholarships are awarded to students with good conduct and excellent academic performance, as well as children from low-income families.
