Professor Nam was honored with the award for her paper titled "Evaluation of the ADNEX Model in Differentiating Benign and Malignant Tumors in Ovarian Masses of Korean Women," published in the Journal of the Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology, recognizing its excellence.
The Korean Society of Obstetrics and Gynecology awards the Best Paper Award to the first author or corresponding author of the best paper selected through a rigorous review process of papers published in the society's journal.
In this study, Professor Nam demonstrated that the 'ADNEX (Assessment of Different NEoplasias in the adneXa) model,' a predictive model for uterine tumor diagnosis, excellently distinguishes between benign and malignant ovarian tumors.

Professor Nam stated, "Ultrasound differential diagnosis of ovarian tumors is very important for appropriate management. This study is significant because it enables personalized patient care by helping classify benign and malignant ovarian tumors in both premenopausal and postmenopausal Korean women using the ADNEX model."
