Daehong Planning analyzed approximately one million contexts related to the keyword "banryeo" through its proprietary social big data system, D-BIGS. By examining each context, the relationships formed by "banryeo" were broadly classified into nine categories, and each relationship was further subdivided from the ABS perspective into physical attributes (Attribute), shared behaviors (Behavior), and emotions felt with the heart (Sentiment), extracting codes that can assign 25 types of Banryeo Marks.
Daehong Planning forecasts that the legacy market, centered on "caring" relationships, will deepen further, while the trendy market, centered on new relationships such as "providing joy," "receiving help," and "one-sided attachment," will expand more broadly. The legacy market is expected to mature rapidly, driven by the pet humanization trend, where pets become family members and are treated like humans. The trendy market has formed attachment relationships with products such as plant cultivators and home brewing devices as consumers enjoyed growing and producing things themselves at home during the pandemic. Additionally, with the growth of metaverse and non-fungible token (NFT) platforms, virtual space characters with uniqueness and scarcity are entering the new banryeo market domain as valuable assets.

Sung Ji-yeon, Head of Data Planning Center at Daehong Planning, stated, "What consumers will expect from banryeo objects in the future will develop into a form that assigns meaning to the banryeo object itself and expands shared experiences to fulfill emotional satisfaction rather than convenience or material gratification. This means that the value of banryeo has become an important catalyst enriching life." She added, "In this regard, the Banryeo Mark presents a new perspective on marketing and branding after the pandemic and can serve as a guide and manual for planning directions for brands and products across various fields."
