[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] The thriller "Confession," starring So Ji-sub and Kim Yoon-jin, maintained its top position at the box office over the past weekend. According to the Korea Film Council's integrated ticket sales network, "Confession" (directed by Yoon Jong-seok) attracted 172,278 viewers over the three-day weekend (April 4-6), securing the number one spot at the box office. Its revenue share was recorded at 35.4%. Since its release on March 26, the film's cumulative audience has reached 536,013.
DC's "Black Adam" took third place with 64,317 viewers, while the animated film "Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: The Riddle! Blossoming Tenkachip School" gathered 42,765 viewers to rank fourth. "Everything Everywhere All at Once" ranked fifth, "Life is Beautiful" took sixth, and "Highway Acceleration," starring Jung Il-woo and released on April 2, entered the chart at eighth place.
