View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Yuri Kim] Mayfield Hotel Seoul announced on the 6th that it has signed an industry-academia cooperation agreement with Kyung Hee University College of Hotel and Tourism Management to promote mutual exchange and development and to nurture global professional talent.
Mayfield Hotel plans to keep pace with changes in the global hotel and tourism industry by fostering talent centered on international students, providing employment opportunities and stepping stones for those in blind spots.
The main points of the agreement include operating customized programs for international students, expanding field training and site visits, and exchanging information and materials. Through this, it aims to strengthen the employment capabilities of international students, train them to meet the talent standards pursued by companies, and offer hotel employment opportunities to outstanding talents.
Kim Young-moon, CEO of Mayfield Hotel Seoul, said, "We will actively strive to revitalize the mutual cooperative relationship by developing customized curricula, enhancing the quality of education to nurture foreign professional talent, and supporting practical skill acquisition through providing field training opportunities."
