Jeong Yeon-joo (30) and Na Hee-won (28) share the lead at 7-under par 137, while domestic No. 1 Min-ji Park (24) is in 4th place at 4-under par 140, three strokes behind, continuing the chase.
Starting from a tie for 11th place, five strokes behind, Ji-hyun Oh recorded three birdies without any bogeys. She made two birdies on the front nine at holes 4 and 8, and added another birdie on the 13th hole (both par 4s) on the back nine. This marks her 8th career victory, her first in 1 year and 3 months since winning the Samdasoo Masters last August. Ji-hyun Oh currently ranks 23rd in the prize money standings with 382,897,000 KRW. She is soon to marry Si-woo Kim (27), who plays on the PGA Tour next month.
Jeong Yeon-joo, who was the leader the previous day, lost one stroke and faltered. Min-ji Park, the top prize money earner (1,271,560,000 KRW), exchanged two birdies for two bogeys and could not reduce her score. She is 210 million KRW ahead of Su-ji Kim (26), who ranks second in prize money (1,057,380,000 KRW). If Min-ji Park finishes this tournament with a better result than Su-ji Kim, she will claim the ‘Prize Money Queen’ title for the second consecutive year. Su-ji Kim advanced to the third round tied for 45th place (2-over par 146).
