[Box Office] So Ji-sub Thriller 'Jabaek' Tops Opening Weekend

[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] The thriller film "Confession," starring actors So Ji-sub and Kim Yoon-jin, topped the box office on its opening weekend.
According to the Korea Film Council's integrated ticketing system, over the three-day weekend (28th-30th), "Confession" (directed by Yoon Jong-bin) attracted 172,567 viewers, securing the number one spot at the box office. Its revenue share was 26.9%. Since its release on the 26th, the film has been seen by a total of 253,013 people.
Also released on the same day, "Remember," starring Lee Sung-min (directed by Lee Il-hyung), drew 141,571 viewers and ranked second. Its cumulative audience reached 239,350, closely competing with "Confession" at the top.
Dwayne Johnson's "Black Adam" attracted 118,111 viewers, placing third. Since its release on the 19th, it has accumulated 649,123 viewers.
The animation "Crayon Shin-chan the Movie: The Riddle! The Blossoming Flower Seed School" gathered around 40,000 viewers, ranking fourth, followed by "Life is Beautiful" in fifth and "Everything Everywhere All at Once" in sixth place.
