On the 28th, after the trial of the Daejang-dong development project preferential treatment case was held at the Seoul Central District Court under the Criminal Division 22 (Presiding Judge Lee Jun-cheol), Yoo told reporters this.
Yoo also claimed that a box containing money was handed to him by Mr. Lee, an associate of Nam Wook, one of the Daejang-dong developers, and that he personally delivered it to Deputy Director Kim.
However, Deputy Director Kim's side has completely denied the allegations, stating that they never received money from Yoo.
Recently, Yoo also claimed to reporters that he created and operated a 'Political Affairs Room' on the Telegram messenger with Deputy Director Kim and others. He asserted that policy-related discussions were exchanged in this 'Political Affairs Room.'
However, Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, said he was not part of this room. Yoo recently also submitted the cloud password of his mobile phone to the prosecution.
