On the 20th, Kwon posted on his social network service (SNS), "According to the tune of the melodrama recited by the Democratic Party, the shameless criminal has become a persecuted saint. Now, the Democratic Party has only changed the protagonist of the melodrama from Cho Kuk to Representative Lee Jae-myung. In other words, 'Cho Kuk Defense Season 2,'" he said.
He also criticized the Democratic Party's parliamentary meeting that morning, saying, "The Democratic Party held a parliamentary meeting and resolved to systematically obstruct the legitimate prosecution investigation. There, they repeatedly chanted delusional slogans such as opposition party oppression and political revenge to the point of boredom," adding, "If they insist that the investigation of a criminal suspect who has already been arrested is opposition party oppression, it is tantamount to the opposition party confessing to being a criminal organization."

Kwon said, "The Democratic Party is trying to turn a legitimate investigation into a political dispute by leading with inflammatory slogans such as 'oppression' and 'revenge.' They are fabricating punishment for sins as oppression by power," and pointed out, "Although the Democratic Party raised their voices calling it a 'regression of history,' what they are doing now is a 'repetition of melodrama' and a 'regression of morality.'"
