On the 18th, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism appointed Ha Jong-dae, a senior reporter at Channel A's news headquarters, as the president of the Korea Policy Broadcasting Corporation. The term is three years, until October 2025.
President Ha graduated from Seoul National University with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and served for 30 years at Dong-A Ilbo, holding positions such as deputy head of the social affairs department in the editorial office, Beijing correspondent, head of the social affairs department, head of the international department, deputy director of the editorial office, head of the digital news communication center, and editorial writer. The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism described him as "a person with extensive experience and expertise in broadcasting and media" and "the right candidate to lead the Korea Policy Broadcasting Corporation steadily amid the rapidly changing media environment."
