[Asia Economy Reporter Jang Sehee] A man in his 50s who attempted suicide with a pistol in a park in Jamwon-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul, ultimately died while receiving treatment at a hospital.
On the 17th, the Seocho Police Station in Seoul announced that Mr. A, a man in his 50s who was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound on the 11th, passed away that morning. The police decided not to conduct an autopsy.
Mr. A underwent surgery immediately after being found at a nearby hospital, but the bullet had pierced his head, leaving him in critical condition. The police believe Mr. A attempted suicide.
