Appointment of Ryu Dong-hyun, Director of Chemical and Biological Technology Examination Bureau, as New Deputy Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office
[Asia Economy (Daejeon) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] The government has appointed Ryu Dong-hyun (柳東賢, 54 years old, photo), Director of the Chemical and Life Technology Examination Bureau, as the new Deputy Commissioner of the Korean Intellectual Property Office (KIPO).
According to KIPO on the 17th, Deputy Commissioner Ryu entered public service through the 26th Technical Examination and is recognized as an intellectual property administration expert, having held key positions such as Director of Patent Examination Planning, Director of Trial Policy, Technical Judge at the Patent Court, Chief Judge at the Patent Tribunal, Director of Mechanical and Metal Technology Examination Bureau, among others.
He is also regarded internally as a communicative manager with a gentle personality who enjoys strong trust from employees.
