This is the first time the company has produced its own uniforms, moving away from ready-made clothing.
Lotte Duty Free designed the uniforms to reflect its vision of being "the most trusted partner," creating an elegant yet comfortable style. The new uniforms consist of a total of eight outfits, tailored according to gender, job role, and season.
In particular, Lotte Duty Free reinterpreted the traditional Korean hanbok to incorporate its beauty into the uniform design for foreign customers. Features of the hanbok, such as the collar and sleeves, were emphasized, and the company's visual identity pattern was used as a design accent. Prior to the introduction of the uniforms, a review meeting and fitting tests were conducted to actively incorporate feedback from sales staff. Considering the need for long hours of wear, the new uniforms use fabric that is more elastic and wrinkle-resistant compared to the previous ones, enhancing mobility and convenience.
The new uniform design was created by designer Kim Ahyoung, who won the Prime Minister's Award at the 2021 Korea Fashion Awards K-Fashion Audition.
