The ‘Excellent Company for Employing Veterans Certification System’ is a project introduced and promoted by the Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs in 2015 to encourage companies’ interest in employing and nurturing mid- to long-term service veterans and to expand employment support for veterans through voluntary participation.
The Ministry of Patriots and Veterans Affairs certifies companies that are proactive in hiring veterans and strive to enhance the capabilities of the hired personnel as ‘Excellent Companies for Employing Veterans’ and provides benefits related to the project.
Also, in June, the ‘Excellent Company for Employing Veterans Certification System’ was announced, and after document screening, on-site inspection, and review by the Korea Management Certification Committee, 32 companies (9 large enterprises, 1 public institution, and 22 small and medium enterprises) were selected as ‘2022 Excellent Companies for Employing Veterans’ and awarded certification plaques.
Among them, DGB Daegu Bank received excellent evaluations in the large enterprise group and was newly certified as the first domestic bank to receive this certification.
