'Broker' as Closing Film of Hawaii Film Festival... 11 Korean Films Invited
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Eleven Korean films will meet audiences in Hawaii.
Selected as the closing film of the 42nd Hawaii International Film Festival, held from the 3rd to the 27th of next month, is "Broker" starring Song Kang-ho (director Koreeda Hirokazu).
Additionally, Lee Jung-jae's directorial debut "Hunt" was invited to the Presentation section, "Return to Seoul," which deals with overseas adoption issues, was invited to the Panorama section, and "Wolf Hunting" starring Seo In-guk and Jang Dong-yoon (director Kim Hong-seon) was invited to the Extreme section.
In the Spotlight on Korea section, films such as "Next Sohee," "Remember," "Limit," and "Midnight Cafe: Missing Honey" were featured.
The documentaries invited to the Panorama section, "Thirty Years of Rhee Syngman in Hawaii" and "The Story of Dreams: Picture Brides," will also meet audiences.

The Hawaii International Film Festival, which began in 1981 with the purpose of cultural exchange among Asia, the Pacific, and North America, is now in its 42nd year and attracts more than 40,000 participants annually.
