Soonchunhyang University Central Medical Center Unveils New HI: "Leaping Toward a Great University and Hospital"
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Gwanju] Soonchunhyang University Central Medical Center announced a new HI (Hospital Identity) on the 13th, expressing its determination to leap forward as a 'great university and hospital.'
HI is a unique image system symbolizing the hospital, embodying the hospital's values and vision. Along with the change of Soonchunhyang University UI (University Identity), the new HI secured an integrated brand identity for the Central Medical Center and its four affiliated hospitals in Seoul, Bucheon, Cheonan, and Gumi.
The existing three-color emblem mark was unified into the representative color 'Sky Blue,' symbolizing a wide window toward hope and a bright future where dreams unfold. The rectangular shape of the emblem mark implies the university's will to properly guide future talents and reflects the founder's medical philosophy that 'disease is cured by heaven, and doctors only assist in the process.'
The color of the logotype was selected as 'Dark Blue' to add weight, enhancing the stability of the signature (communication logo), which combines the symbol and logo. The newly created seal takes the form of the initial 'S,' representing the university and hospital, expressing a soaring figure toward the future.
