The meeting was attended by representatives of partner companies contracted with BPA for construction, services, and supply of goods related to Busan Port North Port.
At the meeting, BPA introduced government-recommended policies such as the priority purchase system for products from socially disadvantaged companies, win-win cooperation systems including win-win payment, and BPA's human rights management, requesting active participation from partner companies.
Regarding the 'Busan Port Authority Safety Management Contract Special Conditions' established on September 20 to prevent disasters, BPA also asked for sufficient understanding and cooperation from related companies.
The safety management contract special conditions refer to precautions separately stipulated concerning safety compliance obligations and safety management in addition to general conditions when contracting for subcontracting, services, consignment, etc.
To identify difficulties faced by partner companies by industry, a contract-related survey was also conducted among attendees at the meeting.
BPA plans to derive work improvement measures by linking the survey results with the ongoing 'Busan Port Authority Contract Partner Satisfaction Survey' and to prepare ESG-based win-win cooperation promotion plans.
