Centon Unveils Book Sterilizer 'Bookmaster Platinum' for the First Time at the National Library Conference

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jonghwa] Centon, a company specializing in book sterilizers, announced on the 12th that it will participate in the '59th National Library Conference' held at Changwon Convention Center (CECO) and showcase its new product 'Book Master Platinum' and the only domestically proven COVID-19 virus removal book sterilizer, 'Book Master.'
Centon's 2023 new product, Book Master Platinum, can sterilize up to 13 books at once and can also disinfect various daily items such as toys, handbags, and bags as needed. Additionally, it features detachable upper and lower parts for flexible use according to space, and its sterilization power and performance have been tested and verified.
The Book Master, released alongside the new product at this library conference, uses UV-C LED and lamps to remove 99.9% of the COVID-19 virus within 30 seconds and has also proven sterilization effectiveness against bacteria such as E. coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. It is characterized by a patented rotating plate and powerful blower function that extends sterilization coverage to every corner of the books.
Another distinguishing feature of Book Master is its customization service. It offers color and logo customization to suit various spaces according to each customer's needs, and recently, many libraries have requested this customization service.
Centon's Book Master book sterilizers are currently used in over 100 universities nationwide, including Seoul National University, Yonsei University, and Korea University, as well as more than 200 public institutions and government offices such as the Constitutional Court, National Assembly Library, Ministry of National Defense, Supreme Court, and National Museum of Korea, and in over 200 elementary, middle, and high schools across the country.

Meanwhile, the 59th National Library Conference is the largest festival in the library community, held every autumn with participation from all libraries nationwide, librarians, related institutions, organizations, and industry stakeholders. It will be held from the 12th to the 14th in Changwon, Gyeongnam.
