View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Moon Chaeseok] Everland, operated by Samsung C&T Resort Division, announced on the 11th that its recent 'World Creators Halloween' (Wolkeuhal) campaign surpassed 100 million cumulative views on SNS platforms such as TikTok.
Wolkeuhal was held on the 9th at the Rose Garden in Everland as part of the K-Halloween Festival, with participation from famous TikTokers, celebrities, and customers both domestic and international.
Everland prepared this campaign together with the MCN company Soon ENT to allow customers to enjoy a unique Halloween festival both online and offline. About 300 well-known creators active on TikTok, a social media app popular among the MZ generation, gathered for the event. Some creators have between 40 million and 60 million followers.
The combined followers of the TikTokers participating in the event amount to approximately 660 million. TikTokers from around the world, including Korea, Australia, Italy, Mexico, and Kazakhstan, created content and conducted live broadcasts with fans throughout Everland locations where the Halloween festival was held, such as Blood City and Four Seasons Garden, even before the event started, raising the festive atmosphere.
Especially at the main event, special performances by TikTokers including dance, beatboxing, and DJing were held. A Halloween concert featuring celebrity singers who have recently become icons of the MZ generation, such as BIBI, Tiger JK, Yoon Mirae, and Beenzino, took place. Despite the rain, the concert received great responses from about 2,000 attendees at the Rose Garden venue.
Everland decorated the Rose Garden area, where Wolkeuhal took place, with various Halloween photo zones featuring pumpkins, skulls, ghosts, and special stages, and held diverse Halloween programs such as the Crazy Zombie Hunt performance and prize events. Through this, they provided a new customer experience. Park Haedong, head of Everland’s marketing team, said, "Starting with this Wolkeuhal, we hope to continue the festive atmosphere until Halloween Day, which is 21 days away, so that customers can briefly relieve stress from their daily lives."
