[Asia Economy Reporter Bang Je-il] Dahye Moon shared the MBTI personality test results of her father, former President Moon Jae-in.
On the 5th, Dahye posted on her Twitter, "The MBTI type of my father, which even I, his daughter, was very curious about," and revealed the former president's personality test results.
Dahye said, "Knowing that he really dislikes such things, I pretended it wasn’t a test and asked questions casually," adding, "After more than 10 minutes, he sensed something was strange. Still, he completed it until the end."
Regarding the MBTI results, she said, "The result was ISTP, the Virtuoso," and added, "What was surprising was that E (Extroversion) and I (Introversion) were almost equal. He was not an introverted person."
MBTI, which has recently become popular mainly among the MZ generation, is a psychological test that classifies personality types into 16 categories. The ISTP type, which appeared as former President Moon’s personality type, is known to account for 5% of all respondents and 11% among Koreans.
ISTP is characterized by high indicators of Introversion (I) among Extroversion/Introversion, Sensing (S) among Sensing/Intuition, Thinking (T) among Thinking/Feeling, and Perceiving (P) among Judging/Perceiving.
According to the website "16personalities," which offers free MBTI tests, ISTP is classified as a "jack-of-all-trades" or "artisan." They tend to be objective and rational, with the strongest Intuition (N) tendency among the Sensing (S) types. Also, they do not exert themselves unnecessarily and tend not to directly engage in situations or relationships unless related to work.
Dahye often shares photos of former President Moon’s daily life at his residence in Pyeongsan Village, Yangsan, Gyeongnam, where he has been living since his retirement in May. On the morning of the 6th, she posted a photo of him riding a camel, writing, "My father has always been cool, but these days he is even cooler."
