View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] CU announced on the 4th that it will launch winter cold-weather products about four weeks earlier than last year due to the sudden drop in temperature recently.
The cold-weather products being introduced this time include a total of about 30 items such as hot packs, tights, cold-weather gloves, sleep pants, and padded vests, which will be sold sequentially from the 5th to mid-month. For hot packs, which have the highest demand, CU will prioritize selling the 'Warm Heart Hot Pack,' the industry's first ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) hot pack launched last year, at some stores. This product features designs from the child safety drawing contest held in collaboration with the National Police Agency and a campaign to find long-term missing children.
The cold-weather clothing features a rabbit character targeting the Year of the Rabbit 2023. There are 13 items including knit earmuffs, cold-weather gloves, smartphone touch gloves, sleep pants, padded vests, and padded scarves. Underwear made from modal fabric, known as fiber extracted from beech trees, is also a differentiated product that enhances warmth.
