View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Seven Eleven announced on the 30th that it will introduce the industry's first delivery service for Last Order's near-expiration products. Last Order is a convenience store closing discount service launched in partnership with Miro, an excellent startup company invested by Lotte Ventures' startup fund in 2020.
The Last Order delivery service allows customers to find nearby stores through the Last Order application (app), select delivery menu items, and place orders. When ordering delivery, customers can order both near-expiration products and regular products together, enabling a one-stop delivery service.
Currently, there are about 10,000 stores nationwide operating the Last Order service, with about 5,000 items across 23 categories including lunch boxes, triangular kimbap, and beverages. Among these, about 5,000 stores nationwide offer the Last Order delivery service, with a delivery fee of 3,000 KRW. The minimum order amount is 10,000 KRW, and delivery operating hours are from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Seven Eleven will offer up to a 45% discount on closing discount products and up to a 15% discount on regular products when using the delivery service through Last Order next month.
