Sejong City Restructures Business Framework of Affiliated Public Institutions... Innovation Plans Prepared for Each Institution
[Asia Economy (Sejong) Reporter Jeong Il-woong] Sejong City will prepare innovation measures for each institution, including restructuring the business structure of its affiliated public institutions.
On the 20th, the city announced that it will support voluntary innovation and management efficiency of public institutions under the city in accordance with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety's 'Local Public Institution Innovation Guidelines,' and will inspect and adjust them.
To this end, the city formed an innovation promotion team led by the Director of the Planning and Coordination Office, and will establish and promote final innovation measures by next month targeting eight affiliated public institutions: Urban Transportation Corporation, Facilities Management Corporation, Cultural Foundation, Local Food Co., Ltd., Talent Lifelong Education Promotion Institute, Social Service Agency, Technopark, and Credit Guarantee Foundation.
The innovation measures will focus on restructuring the business structure in line with the 4th term policy direction of the city administration, preparing innovation measures for each institution such as functional adjustment and personnel reallocation within the institution, and management efficiency. The process will also include analyzing the performance of each institution's projects and consolidating or abolishing inefficient projects.
