The allegation was raised last December by the YouTube channel 'Garosero Research Institute' (Gaseyeon), and the police investigation began after Lee was reported.

The police have conducted six witness interrogations at the detention center with CEO Kim, who is currently imprisoned on a separate case. After questioning Kim, the police coordinated with Lee’s side to schedule his appearance and reportedly summoned him for questioning on this day.
