'2022 Korea 24 Hours Barcelona' GT4 Class Victory
[Asia Economy Reporter Kiho Sung] The racing team 'Korea AtlasBX Motorsports,' sponsored by Hankook Tire & Technology (Hankook Tire), announced on the 13th that it won first place in the 'GT4 class' of the world-renowned endurance race '2022 Hankook 24 Hours of Barcelona,' held from the 9th to the 11th (local time) at the Barcelona-Catalunya Circuit in Spain.
Drivers Johangwoo, Kim Jongkyum, Choi Myunggil, Yang Taegun, and Ha Taeyoung of Korea AtlasBX Motorsports challenged the 'GT4 class' driving the Mercedes-AMG GT4, delivering flawless performance over 24 hours to lift the winner's trophy. This victory is especially meaningful as it is their second win following the 2020 '24 Hours of Dubai' and their first win by completing the entire race.
The 24 Hours Series is the world's largest endurance race where global premium supercars such as the Porsche 991, Lamborghini Huracan, BMW M4 GT3, Mercedes-AMG GT4, and Audi R8 compete nonstop over 24 hours on a challenging course.
