Pohang City and Gyeongju City Designated as 'Special Disaster Areas'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 8th at 9 a.m. that it has downgraded the typhoon 'Hinnamnor' crisis alert level from "Caution" to "Interest" and lifted the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasure Headquarters (CDSCH) Emergency Level 1.
The typhoon crisis alert is divided into four levels: Interest, Caution, Warning, and Severe, while the CDSCH emergency response levels are divided into Levels 1 to 3.
