[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Lee Seryeong] The Gyeongnam Office of Education is operating a ‘Practical Preparation! Customized Interview Class to Boost Confidence’ to support examinees preparing for student record comprehensive screening interviews in the 2023 academic year college admission early decision process.
The interview classes will be held from the 19th to the 23rd at the Gyeongnam College Admission Information Center on the 2nd floor of the Office of Education’s 2nd building and the Western College Admission Information Center on the 1st floor of the Art Education Center Haebom.
The operating hours are from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays, and the program is designed for 204 students.
Students and parents who wish to participate can apply on a first-come, first-served basis by date starting at 10 a.m. on the 7th through the Gyeongnam College Admission Information Center website.
Since a website account is required for online application, users must first sign up on the website, and only one person among the attending student or parent needs to register.
The interview class provides preparation methods and information tailored to the interview types of each university and is conducted face-to-face.
The interview time consists of a 20-minute mock interview and a 10-minute consultation, taking 30 minutes per student.
The interviews are conducted by a university admission expert committee composed of admission specialists and counselors from the Gyeongnam College Admission Information Center.
Interviewers conduct one-on-one customized interviews according to the interview types of the universities the students are applying to.
Students who apply for face-to-face interviews must attend with their school life records and self-introduction letters.
The Gyeongnam Office of Education plans to hold a ‘2023 Regional Visiting Mock Interview Camp for High School Seniors’ for students who could not apply for the interview class.
The camp will be held at Jinyang High School on October 1, Gimhae High School on October 8, Geoje Sangmun High School on October 15, and Changwon Towol High School on October 22.
