Lotte Mart Launches Chuseok Gift Set Sales... Up to 30% Discount Benefits
Advance Reservation Period Sales Up 25% Year-on-Year
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Lotte Mart announced on the 4th that it will conduct the main sales of 2022 Chuseok gift sets at all stores until the Chuseok holiday on the 10th.
During the main sales, customers paying with event cards will receive up to a 30% discount compared to the regular price, along with various promotions such as gift certificates worth up to 500,000 KRW, instant discounts, and free gifts depending on the purchase quantity.
About 1,400 Chuseok gift sets will be offered, featuring differentiated gift sets unique to Lotte Mart. A representative product is the premium Korean beef brand ‘Marble Nine’. Sales of premium Korean beef gift sets increased about threefold compared to last year, with Marble Nine gift sets accounting for about 70% of sales, making them very popular. Various exotic fruit gift sets such as Shine Muscat grapes, giant dragon fruit, avocado, and mango have been prepared. As sales of liquor gift sets grew by more than 40% during the pre-order period, liquor products have also been reinforced.
According to Lotte Mart, sales during the Chuseok gift set pre-order period rose about 25% compared to last year. Sales of Chuseok gift sets priced under 50,000 KRW increased by more than 30% compared to the same period last year, driving the sales performance of pre-order gift sets, while premium gift sets priced over 200,000 KRW also grew by more than 10%.
