[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Byung-don] A man in his 70s who repeatedly attempted to lure elementary school students in Seoul has been brought to trial.
The Seoul Southern District Prosecutors' Office announced on the 2nd that it has arrested and indicted a man in his 70s, identified as Mr. A, on charges of attempted abduction of minors.
Mr. A is accused of approaching an 11-year-old elementary school student, Ms. B, who was returning home from school in an apartment complex in Geumcheon-gu, Seoul, on the 25th of last month, saying, "I have a lot of money. Come play with me," in an attempt to lure her.

It is also reported that Mr. A attempted the crime again against the same students on the 26th, the day after the police investigation.
