Handonghun Orders Strict Punishment, "Will Pursue Digital Sex Crimes to the End"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Daehyun] Han Dong-hoon, Minister of Justice, has instructed the Supreme Prosecutors' Office to respond strictly to digital sex crimes.
On the 1st, Minister Han urged to actively utilize scientific investigation to pursue crimes to the end, and to adhere to strengthened case handling standards, such as generally conducting detention investigations for offenders involved in the production and distribution of sexual exploitation materials.
This directive came as digital sex crimes continue, with recent detection of circumstances involving minor sexual exploitation videos similar to the 'Nth Room' case from two years ago.
