Pillaware Launches SCPv3 Globally at US VMware Conference
Market Expansion with SmartCloudPortal v3, an Automated Management Platform

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Bo-kyung] PillaWare, a virtualization solution specialist company led by CEO Kim Yoon-chul, announced on the 31st that it participated in 'VMware Explore 2022 US,' held from August 29 to September 1 (local time) at the Moscone Center in San Francisco, USA, and launched the global version of its virtual desktop (VDI) automation platform 'SmartCloudPortal (SCP)v3' for the first time in the industry.
The newly introduced SCPv3 is a product born from PillaWare's accumulated research and development expertise over 10 years since the first product launch in 2013, and the company explained that it will serve as the first signal for the global market.
This product is a VMware-based VDI automation platform that provides various functions such as △ integrated operation and management of various user VDIs △ user VDI access and self-service application △ secure access function for external connections and external access policy management (APM) △ VDI access and self-service on Android/iOS mobile devices. Its biggest feature is enabling both users and administrators to easily and conveniently maximize VDI utilization while securely protecting corporate information and confidential assets.
PillaWare, an End User Computing partner that has obtained VMware Master Services Competency, the highest technical certification from VMware in the US, has been steadily receiving positive responses from corporate customers by providing VMware virtual desktop management automation solutions starting with SCPv1 in 2013.
CEO Kim Yoon-chul said, "Globally, the demand for non-face-to-face, remote work, and smart workplaces has greatly increased due to COVID-19," adding, "In the future, virtual work environments will become a necessity rather than an option, and many global companies are significantly improving work efficiency and productivity by utilizing virtualization solutions."

CEO Kim explained, "PillaWare plans to actively target the global market not only domestically but also through its US and China branches with the SCPv3 product," and added, "We have started plans for a new type of AIOps product that combines SCP with deep learning by developing our own artificial intelligence (AI) applications."
