Emart Opens Wine Grab Service... "Order on App and Pick Up In-Store"
Limited Quantity Discount Sale on Popular Wines
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chunhan] Emart announced on the 31st that it has newly launched the upgraded smart order application service "Wine Grab" and will hold various promotions from the 1st to the 11th of next month.
Wine Grab adds shopping features such as a data-based personalized wine recommendation service and barcode scanning to the smart order service, which allows customers to order wine, whiskey, liqueur, etc. through the app and pick up the same day at Emart stores. By using this service, customers can conveniently shop for products via mobile and complete ordering and payment easily, and pick up their purchases on the same day at 130 Emart stores nationwide. Adult verification is conducted upon first entry to the service, and customers must bring the purchaser's ID when visiting the store.
A big data-based personalized wine recommendation service is also introduced. It comprehensively analyzes individual customers' accumulated purchase data and wine preference test results to inform customers of their preferences through detailed indicators such as sweetness, body, tannin, and acidity, and recommends products with a high degree of match.
The addition of a barcode scan function and enhancement of the search function improve convenience. When shopping at Emart stores, scanning the barcode of alcoholic beverages allows customers to easily check product information such as taste, characteristics, and customer reviews. Additionally, various search filters such as grape variety, country of origin, taste, and price are provided to efficiently offer only the desired information, and products including customer benefits such as discounts and limited quantities are grouped for easy viewing.
To commemorate the launch of this service, special-priced wines will be sold to first-time Emart wine buyers until the 7th of next month. Until the 11th, more than 50 popular brand wines, including Bordeaux Premier Cru wines and Riedel O Glass packages, will be sold at limited daily quantities with discounts for all customers.
