Four Seasons Hotel Seoul Launches Handmade Beer 'Cerveza Agria' Featuring South American Charm
[Asia Economy Reporter Jeon Jinyoung] Charles H, a speakeasy bar located on the basement level 1 of Four Seasons Hotel Seoul, announced on the 30th that it will introduce a handcrafted beer called Cerveza Agria, reflecting the charm and lifestyle of South America.
Since 2018, Charles H has collaborated with the Jeju-based brewery 'Magpie' to launch handcrafted beers resembling cocktails, marking a first in the hotel industry.
The seventh beer introduced, Cerveza Agria, was inspired by the representative South American cocktail 'Pisco Sour.'
Cerveza Agria means 'sour beer' in Spanish, and the Pisco Sour cocktail is made by mixing Pisco, a type of brandy, with egg whites and lemon or lime juice. The Cerveza Agria beer features an ale base with the refreshing taste of lemon and lime, the nutty flavor of wheat and oats, and the subtle aroma of dandelion root.
