Director Lee Jung-jae Receives Consecutive Overseas Love Calls... Invited to Fantasy Film Fest
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Isul] Global film festivals continue to send love calls to director Lee Jung-jae.
On the 30th, Megabox Joongang Corp. Plus M announced that Lee Jung-jae's directorial debut, "Hunt," has been invited to the 36th Fantasy Film Fest and will be screened locally in Germany on September 13, 19, and 26.
Started in 1987, the Fantasy Film Fest is the largest genre film festival in Germany, showcasing selected horror, thriller, SF, fantasy, and action films.
This year, it will tour seven cities including Berlin, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Cologne, Munich, Nuremberg, and Stuttgart, and will be held from the 7th to the 28th of next month.

"Hunt" is a spy action drama in which National Intelligence Service agents Park Pyung-ho and Kim Jung-do, who suspect each other to root out a spy hidden within the organization, face a massive incident known as South Korea's first assassination operation. It has been invited to the Cannes, Toronto, Fantastic Fest, and Sitges Film Festival.
