Professor Philip Kotler and Others to Speak at Academic Conference
The Busan International Advertising Festival will be held from the 25th to the 27th at BEXCO and the Haeundae area in Busan. It is an advertising industry festival hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Busan Metropolitan City. As it resumes offline after three years overcoming COVID-19, the program has been expanded to include marketing and digital transformation.

A total of 18,922 entries from 73 countries were submitted. 1,745 entries from 58 countries advanced to the finals. The main award-winning works, including two "Grand Prize of the Year" winners, will be announced at the awards ceremony held at BEXCO on the 27th. In addition to the awards ceremony, the organizing committee has prepared exhibitions, academic conferences, and business markets. The academic conference features 56 experts as speakers, including Philip Kotler, a professor at Northwestern University in the U.S. known as the father of modern marketing, as well as advertisers, famous creators, and broadcasters. Over 150 companies from eight countries participate in the business market to promote their activities. Domestic and international advertising-related organizations and companies will also sign business agreements for mutual business exchanges and value-added creation.
