Collaboration on Joint Research and Development in Digital Ethics Fields such as AI and Metaverse
On the morning of the 16th, Seoul Digital Foundation and the International Artificial Intelligence & Ethics Association signed a joint business agreement for cooperation in the field of digital ethics at the Seoul Smart City Center. View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] Seoul Digital Foundation and IAAE International Artificial Intelligence & Ethics Association announced on the 17th that they signed a "Joint Business Agreement for Cooperation in the Field of Digital Ethics" on the 16th at the Seoul Smart City Center.
Through the agreement between the two organizations, they promised to actively promote various business collaborations such as research, development, and dissemination activities related to digital ethics in the Fourth Industrial Revolution fields including AI and the metaverse.
The agreement includes ▲ joint research and development on digital ethics such as AI ethics and metaverse ethics, ▲ training digital ethics experts in the fields of AI and the metaverse, ▲ joint education to enhance digital ethics capabilities for Seoul citizens, and ▲ promotional cooperation projects such as conferences, public events, and public hearings for Seoul citizens.
Chairman Kang Yo-sik said, "AI technology and metaverse technology, which are core to digital transformation, are rapidly spreading, and for the coexistence of citizens and digital technology, the spread of digital ethics must also be achieved together," adding, "We will actively cooperate to promote digital ethics for the true happiness and benefit enhancement of Seoul citizens through digital innovation technology."

Jeon Chang-bae, Director of IAAE International Artificial Intelligence & Ethics Association, explained, "AI intelligent cities and smart cities are ultimately possible through technology and big data," and added, "By utilizing big data and AI and metaverse technologies generated by cities and citizens in various fields, we can solve various problems occurring in the city and bring benefits to citizens."
