[Asia Economy Intern Reporter Kim Gunchan] While the whereabouts of a woman in her 20s who went missing near Gayang Station on Seoul Subway Line 9 in June have yet to be confirmed, another incident occurred where a man in his 20s went missing near Gayang Station.
On the 10th, a post searching for Lee Jung-woo (25) was uploaded on the online community 'Bobae Dream.' The poster, A, stated that Lee is the younger brother of their closest friend and also has a personal connection with them, attaching a missing person flyer. A said, "Any information would be appreciated, so if anyone knows anything, please send a text or call," adding, "Please refrain from prank calls or false reports that could interfere with the investigation."
According to A, Lee went missing after parting ways with acquaintances near Gonghang Market Station around 1:30 a.m. on the 7th. At approximately 2:15 a.m. that day, Lee’s last appearance was captured on CCTV near Gayang Station. Subsequently, around 2:30 a.m., after finishing a call with his girlfriend, Lee’s cellphone was turned off.
Lee is 172 cm tall, weighs 60 kg, and has a slim build. On the day he went missing, he was wearing a black short-sleeved T-shirt, beige pants, and white sneakers. It is reported that he has lettering tattoos on his right wrist and left collarbone.

Previously, on June 27, Kim Ga-eul (24) also went missing near Gayang Station. The police have conducted searches focusing on Gayang Station and the Han River area, but Kim’s whereabouts remain unknown.
