This education program is aimed at 15 cafe and other food service operators and prospective entrepreneurs, held every Wednesday and Friday for 4 hours each session, totaling 10 sessions, to promote proper awareness of our agricultural products and establish a sustainable consumption base.
The education will provide basic knowledge and cooking methods for dessert development using agricultural products, and trainees will directly make 13 types of desserts such as rice gangjeong and bellflower root locks through hands-on practice that can be applied on-site.
The county expects this education to be an opportunity to raise pride in traditional foods such as Korean sweets (Hangwa) and to promote ways to utilize local agricultural products during a time of growing interest in K-food.
